Regression Testing
We perform re-testing after fixes or modifications of the software or its environment. Re-running test cases for a new build of software that includes new features, to ensure that product features still work. Automated Testing Tools can be very effective for this type of testing process.

User Acceptance Testing
ACULIS performs final testing based on specifications or use of the end-user / customer. This is carried out to determine whether the software satisfies its acceptance criteria and should be accepted by the end-user.

Installation Testing
Confirms that the application recovers from expected or unexpected events without loss of data or functionality. Events can include shortage of disk space, unexpected loss of communication, or power out conditions.

Negative Testing
Testing aimed at showing that the software does not work. Also known as "test to fail".

Smoke Testing
ACULIS performs an initial testing process to determine if a new software version is performing well enough to accept it for a major testing process. For example, if the software is crashing systems every 5 minutes, bogging down systems to a crawl, or corrupting databases, the software may not be ready for advanced testing.
